Jun 19, 2020 · So I tried the install of both Scarlett Solo and Midi Guitar 2 on the faster computer, doing the exact same things, but never could get any sound at all. I have followed the following steps and even through I get a signal from the guitar on TRK 1, and the Midi Guitar 2 configuration screen shows that signal is nicely being converted to midi. When I try and use MG2 as a standalone app, it doesn’t make any sound. I've started playing about with this software on my ipad and loving it except for the latency. My iPad is quite old (version 6) and I'm using a behringer audio interface if that makes any difference. Issues with the plugin scanner should be resolved, but you need to do a new scan for plugins with the new version. Just wondering what anyone elses experiences are. It’s all I have right now and really don’t want to have to get another Focusrite or something. First impressions are excellent, however, I wonder if there is a bug (or if it’s me). And in both cases Midi Guitar 2 although it recognized and “saw” the Scarlett Solo, never played anything or gave any MIDI sound at all.
